Me

I almost lost me.
After the fights, the alcohol filled nights.
I almost lost me.
After the passion, the reality set in.
I almost lost me.
After the thrill became fear, the smiles became tears.
I almost lost me.
After the changes changed us.
I almost lost me.
After the move, from state one.. to state two then back to state three.
I almost lost me.
After I began to blend back in.
I began to write and realized I’m still looking for me.
Still creating.
I lost the pieces, some recovered while the others were replaced by new pieces I had discovered.
I’m finding me.
